2. Confidentiality: No information about the client will be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of the client or the parent or guardian if the client is under 18.
  3. Transparency: Include on your website and be willing to explain to prospective clients or students your training background, what takes place in a Reiki session, the subjects covered in your classes, the amount of time spent in sessions and classes and the fee charged.
  4. Integrity: Be honest in all your activities and communication.
  5. Support: Have a friendly, positive regard toward your clients and students and openly encourage them to heal and to do the best job possible with their Reiki practice and/or teaching program.
  6. Respect: Value your clients and students and treat them with respect. Never engage in any illegal or immoral activity with your clients or students. Never touch their genital area or breasts, never ask them to disrobe, and never make sexual comments, jokes or references. Abstain from the use of drugs or alcohol during all professional activities.
  7. Honor: Honor all Reiki practitioners and teachers regardless of lineage or organizational affiliation. Refrain from making negative statements about other Reiki practitioners or teachers.
  8. Educate: Inform your clients and students about the value of Reiki sessions and that they do not provide a cure and are not a substitute for care by a licensed health care provider.
  9. Refer: Acknowledge that Reiki works in conjunction with other forms of medical or psychological care. If a client or student has a medical or psychological condition, suggest, in addition to giving them Reiki treatments, they see a licensed health care provider.
  10. Non-Interference: Never diagnose medical or psychological conditions or prescribe medications. Never suggest that a client change or end dosages of substances prescribed by other licensed health care providers or suggest the client change prescribed treatment or interfere with the treatment of a licensed health care provider.
  11. Honesty: Never use another person’s copyrighted material in your classes, website or literature without permission and giving credit.
  12. Freedom: Encourage your students to use their own inner guidance in determining who to take classes from including the possibility of studying with more than one teacher.
  13. Professional Conduct: Always act in such a way so as to create and maintain a professional image for the practice of Reiki and for the ICRT Reiki Membership Association.
  14. Development: Be involved in the continuing process of healing yourself on all levels so as to fully express the essence of Reiki in all you do. 
  15. Gratitude: Be grateful for the gift of Reiki and for each client and student who chooses to come to you.

اپنی تمام سرگرمیوں اور رابطوں میں ایمانداری اختیار کریں۔

معاونت (Support):
اپنے کلائنٹس اور طلبہ کے ساتھ دوستانہ اور مثبت رویہ رکھیں اور انہیں شفا یابی اور اپنی ریکی پریکٹس یا تدریسی پروگرام میں بہترین کارکردگی دکھانے کی ترغیب دیں۔

احترام (Respect):
اپنے کلائنٹس اور طلبہ کی قدر کریں اور ان کے ساتھ عزت سے پیش آئیں۔ کسی بھی غیر قانونی یا غیر اخلاقی سرگرمی میں ملوث نہ ہوں۔ کبھی بھی جسم کے حساس حصوں (جنسی اعضاء یا چھاتی) کو نہ چھوئیں، نہ ہی کپڑے اتارنے کا کہیں، اور نہ ہی کوئی جنسی نوعیت کے تبصرے یا مذاق کریں۔ پیشہ ورانہ سرگرمیوں کے دوران منشیات یا الکحل کے استعمال سے پرہیز کریں۔

قدر و عزت (Honor):
تمام ریکی پریکٹیشنرز اور اساتذہ کی عزت کریں، چاہے ان کا سلسلہ یا تنظیم کچھ بھی ہو۔ دوسرے ریکی پریکٹیشنرز یا اساتذہ کے بارے میں منفی باتیں کرنے سے گریز کریں۔

آگاہی (Educate):
اپنے کلائنٹس اور طلبہ کو بتائیں کہ ریکی سیشنز علاج کا مکمل متبادل نہیں ہیں اور نہ ہی یہ کسی مستند طبی ماہر کی دیکھ بھال کا بدل ہیں۔

حوالہ دینا (Refer):
یہ تسلیم کریں کہ ریکی دیگر طبی یا نفسیاتی علاج کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرتی ہے۔ اگر کسی کلائنٹ یا طالب علم کو طبی یا نفسیاتی مسئلہ ہو تو ریکی کے ساتھ ساتھ انہیں کسی مستند طبی ماہر سے رجوع کرنے کا مشورہ دیں۔

مداخلت نہ کرنا (Non-Interference):
کبھی بھی طبی یا نفسیاتی تشخیص نہ کریں اور نہ ہی ادویات تجویز کریں۔ کلائنٹ کو یہ نہ کہیں کہ وہ کسی مستند ڈاکٹر کی دی ہوئی دوا کی مقدار میں تبدیلی کرے یا اسے بند کرے، اور نہ ہی کسی جاری علاج میں مداخلت کریں۔

ایمانداری (Honesty):
کسی دوسرے شخص کے کاپی رائٹ شدہ مواد کو اپنی کلاسز، ویب سائٹ یا تحریروں میں اجازت اور کریڈٹ کے بغیر استعمال نہ کریں۔

آزادی (Freedom):
اپنے طلبہ کو ترغیب دیں کہ وہ اپنی اندرونی رہنمائی کے مطابق فیصلہ کریں کہ وہ کس سے سیکھنا چاہتے ہیں، اور اگر چاہیں تو ایک سے زیادہ اساتذہ سے بھی سیکھ سکتے ہیں۔

پیشہ ورانہ رویہ (Professional Conduct):
ہمیشہ ایسا رویہ اختیار کریں جو ریکی کی پریکٹس اور اس کی تنظیم کے لیے ایک مثبت اور پیشہ ورانہ تاثر قائم کرے۔
